This is a very unique class to our area and there are many rules for such a simple class. This is a class that basically should be a 1/10 off road buggy with rubber tires and a late model body. Because this class has so many rules and possible interpretations that the race director may at any time update specs or wordage to protect the class’s integrity with out notice.

-All Classes
- No roll-over
antennas
- Bodies must be
securely fastened to the vehicle.
- Body must be
on the vehicle to have laps counted.
- All
cars/trucks must have numbers on them. These are 1/10 race cars, so let’s make
them look like race cars.
- Foam tires
must have a .125” minimum sidewall. Also, foam tires with excessive chunks
missing will not be allowed. If you are unsure of whether or not your tires will
pass, ask the race director. The final decision will be left to the race
director.
- All
cars/trucks must have 4 tires/wheels to race. If one falls off or breaks off of
your car/truck, then you must pull off of the track.
- If you miss
the start of the race, you cannot join in that race. Your vehicle must be on the
track and ready to race when the race starts.
- Track records
must come from a Main not form a Heat race. For a new record to be official, the
driver is responsible to have his/her car teched after the race. The car/truck
can not go to the pits first, it must go immediately to the race director.
- On the final
points night we will run one heat race and then the mains. Heat races will not
determine the line-up for the mains. The mains will be lined up according to the
points. The fastest qualifier in each class will earn the bonus points just like
any other night, but the line-up for the mains will still be set by the points.
We will throw out each driver’s 2 lowest nights, so the mains will be lined up
by the best 7 races.
The starting order of the mains will be inverted.
- In the event
of a tie, we will go by the number of wins and number of times as a top
qualifier. The driver with the highest combined total of the two wins the
tie-breaker. If a tie still exists, we will go to 2nd place finishes, then 3rd,
then 4th, etc. The tie-breaker will be figured by using all previous events, no
throw-outs.
- Make sure that
the car/truck that you are driving meets the rules for the class that you are
racing in. We will be randomly teching cars on both Saturday and Tuesday night
race days. Failing to follow the rules will disqualify you for that day in that
class.
- If a car/truck
does not fit the rules for the class that it is raced in, that driver gets 0
points for that night (this will not be used as a throw-out).
Racing Rules:
- Frequency
clips MUST be used when you turn your transmitter on. Also, clips MUST be
returned when you have finished.
- Be ready to
race. All racers must be ready to race when the race before theirs finishes.
This does not mean that you start to get ready then. It means that when the race
before yours finishes, you should be at the track, have the correct transponder
in your car, and be ready to race. There will be 90 seconds between races.
- NO reverse
allowed. If you have reverse, do not use it or you will be docked a lap.
- Respect
others. This is a family atmosphere. Please, refrain from using inappropriate
language. Remember that we are here to have fun.
- Try to not
yell at the marshals. It is not their fault that you crashed. Once again, we are
here to have fun.
- Once your race
has ended, turn off your radio & car, remove the transponder & put it back in
the charger, remove the frequency clip from your radio & return it to it’s home
on the board, set your car & radio on a shelf, and get ready to marshal the next
race. Please, do not return to the pit area until after you have marshaled.
- Marshals pay
attention and be ready to move. Please, do not sit while the race is in
progress. Watch for other cars as you enter the track.
Marshals cannot work on cars.
Marshals cannot throw cars across the track to be fixed.
- NO Silicone embedded foam tires!!
- Cars/Trucks must not dig up or damage the racing surface
- “Remember – Marshall like you want to be marshalled!
- Even/Odd marshalling rules will be in effect. Race one will be
odd number transponders. …Race two will be even transponders.
- Be safe and
Have Fun!
- Rules are
subject to change. Final decisions regarding legality are up to the race
directors.
