Battle of the Borders Racing Series This is a joint effort between Brinks Speedway and Tea's Raceway Park. There will be 4 races total, 2 at Brinks 2 at Tea's. There is one throw out and you must qualify in order to receive awards on the last day. Classes will be set the second night of this series and points will be awarded in those classes only for the remainder of the series. Series fee will be an additional $3.00 cash per class you run in addition to that tracks normal entry fee's. All fee's collected are being used for awards and prizes so 100% of the additional fees are going back to the racers of this series. If you race any of the days of this series you are still required to pay the series fee even if you are not trying to win the series. Dates: Saturday January 17th: Race at Tea's, Doors open at 1pm racing starts at 4pm Sunday January 18th: Race at Brinks, Doors open at 10am racing starts at 12 Noon Saturday February 21st: Race at Brinks, Doors open at 10:30am racing starts at 1pm Sunday February 22nd: Race at Tea's, Doors open at 10am racing starts at 12 Noon. Track information Brinks Speedway, Hard packed black dirt, Med banking, 115' driveline, pit area, electrical available, food. Tea's Raceway Park, Hard pack clay, Med banking, 165' driveline, pit area, electrical available, food service. Also at stake will be a traveling trophy going to the persons normal home track. This trophy will be awarded to the person who accumulates the most amount of points of the 4 events. No throw outs in this award. This person is also responsible to put up this trophy for next year's Border Battle. All classes will be electric only for this series. |
